Welcome to the Pine Cottage Website

Pine Cottage is a small, one bedroomed Cottage in converted 200 year old farm buldings in the quiet area of North Devon called Clifford. Although the farm is not more than a mile away from Woolfardisworthy - a fairly decent sized town - the famous Devon roadside hedgerows and lack of other towns visible from the farm give the feeling of being fairly isolated from the rest of the world - the perfect getaway!

Clifford contains nothing other than Clifford Farm, however nearby Woolfardisworthy (or "Woolsery" according to the locals) offers all the mod cons of village life including a very cosy local pub!

A short drive brings you to the west coast of England and the closest stop is Clovelly, well known for it's steep walk to the sea. For a sandy beach day out, Woolsery lies about 15 minutes in either direction towards either Bude or Westward Ho! (incidentally, the only town in England to be named after a book).

The coastline of north Devon and west of England are protected by the Natrual Trust and is therefore unspoilt and contains a wide range of coastal and moor roaming wildlife and plantlife.

The coastline is rugged and often without any buildings in sight. The whole of the coastline is dotted with walking, riding and cycle paths and Woolsery is in a location whereby the distance to the North Devon Hikes and paths are easy to reach which ever direction you decide to travel.
